IMPORTANT HIRE INFORMATION
A vehicle may tow a laden trailer of up to one and a half times the unladen mass of the tow vehicle, provided that the tow bar is rated accordingly and the trailer is fitted with brakes that comply with the requirements stipulated in the Australian design rule ADR38.
All JGA camper trailers vary in Tare weight (the unladen weight of the trailer) from approx 950 - 1165kg each. Please check your vehicles towing specifications for confirmation.
Customers must have a 50mm tow ball installed to the towing vehicle. The camper trailer tow ball weight varies from 90 – 137kg.
If your vehicle isn’t fitted with a brake controller unit JGA has a mobile unit that can be easily installed (at no extra cost).
Caravan towing mirrors can also be supplied by JGA (at no extra cost).
Camper trailer returns are due back no later than 3pm on the last day of the hire period. JGA are prepared to negotiate a later return time, though this must be approved by JGA prior to the hire period.
